Food for Thought: Pasta for Breakfast. Or Eggs for Dinner.



Sometimes I want breakfast for dinner. And sometimes I want dinner for breakfast. And sometimes I want some unholy offspring of both at the same time.

Hence eggy-pasta. Or pastay-eggs. Not entirely sure what it’s called, all I know is it is the Megazord of meals. It’s got spaghetti. It’s got two scrambled eggs. It’s got a lot of butter and cheese. It’s probably a million caloreies.

Also, it’s great for hangovers. Or hunger hangovers. Whatever you’re suffering from.

And it’s so easy, a hungover person can make it.



Megazord Spaghetti:

  • 8 oz of spaghetti
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp of butter
  • grated Parmesan cheese

Makes 2 large servings or 1 desperate serving.

  1. Bring pot of salted water to boil. Cook spaghetti for 5-6 minutes, until mostly cooked, but not quite al dente. Drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, toss pasta, butter, and eggs. Keep tossing until both eggs and pasta are cooked through. Remove from heat.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and top with a lot of cheese. Serve.
